Amy is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law, summa cum laude, where she served as the Nevada Editor of the Nevada Law Journal and was selected by the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic for the Outstanding Student Award. After graduation, she was selected to serve as the senior law clerk for then-Chief Justice Robert E. Rose of the Nevada Supreme Court. She is licensed to practice in Nevada state and federal courts.
Amy’s practice focuses on the defense of insurance companies and their insureds in all aspects of litigation, including trucking and transportation, premises liability, products liability, professional negligence, and medical malpractice. She has extensive appellate experience, argued several times before the Supreme Court of Nevada and Nevada Court of Appeals, conducted many jury trials, and handled hundreds of hearings at the trial court level. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at the William S. Boyd School of Law and taught Philosophy at the College of Southern Nevada.
