Merris Washington

Merris earned her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and her law degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  She is licensed to practice in Texas and California state and federal courts.

Merris’s practice focuses on the defense of insurance companies and their insureds in all aspects of litigation, including trucking and transportation, auto accident, personal injury, premises liability, and products liability cases.  She has served as staff counsel and local counsel for some of the largest insurance companies in the United States and had extensive trial, deposition, motion practice, and mediation experience.
